On the roadmap

Sign PDF is in development.

We are taking the time to build this tool to the same in-browser, zero-upload standard as the rest of the suite. Drop your email below and we will let you know the moment it ships.

One transactional email when the tool launches. Stored locally on this device only.

Sign a PDF privately, in your browser

Signing a document is the moment of greatest legal exposure in any PDF workflow. It is exactly the moment you want to avoid handing the file to an unfamiliar intermediary.

Our forthcoming signature tool lets you draw your signature with a mouse or finger, type it in a script font, or upload an image of it — and place it precisely on the page. Everything happens client-side, with pdf-lib writing the final signed file in your tab. Sign up below to hear about launch.

Until then

Apple Preview, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and the built-in PDF viewer in Firefox all support basic signature placement locally on your device.
