On the roadmap

OCR PDF is in development.

We are taking the time to build this tool to the same in-browser, zero-upload standard as the rest of the suite. Drop your email below and we will let you know the moment it ships.

One transactional email when the tool launches. Stored locally on this device only.

OCR your PDFs without uploading them

Optical character recognition turns a scanned PDF — one that is really just an image of a document — into a searchable, selectable file. The text content is what matters; it is also what people most often want to keep private.

We are building OCR around Tesseract.js, which runs the entire recognition pipeline inside a WebAssembly module in your browser. No page is uploaded for processing. Sign up below to be told when it ships.

Supported languages on launch

English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese and simplified Chinese will be available at launch, with more added based on user requests.
