Edit PDF is in development.
We are taking the time to build this tool to the same in-browser, zero-upload standard as the rest of the suite. Drop your email below and we will let you know the moment it ships.
A real, private PDF editor
Most “online PDF editor” tools fall into one of two categories. Either they let you draw shapes on top of an unchangeable background (which is fine, but limited), or they upload your document, edit it on a remote server, and hand it back. Neither is what we want to build.
The PDFSamurai editor in development lets you annotate, add text, fill form fields, draw signatures, and arrange pages — all inside your browser. The document never leaves the tab. Sign up below to be told when it ships.
If you need an editor today
Mozilla's open-source pdf.js ships an editing UI inside Firefox. Apple Preview includes a strong annotation toolset on macOS. Both run locally.
